TAL'AA

Project Brief

This project was launched in the theater of the Ministry of Tourism under the patronage of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism, Her Excellency Maitha Bint Saif Al-Mahrouqi, in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism, Mowasalat Company, the National Center for Vocational Guidance. This project included several stations, starting from the Muttrah market, passing through the palace of science and the National Museum using public transport, and the project ended with a brainstorming workshop about the exploratory trip.

Project Goals

It aims to implant the culture of using public transportation for scholarship students and those who are about to be scholarship students, in addition to introducing Omani tourism and improving the public transportation service, as well as listening to the opinions and suggestions of the participants about the quality of services they are looking forward to from the transportation company.

TAL'AA project achievements

-School students from different levels and schools have participated in this project, as well as scholarships students to be conducted in various countries, graduate students from scholarship countries and universities of the Sultanate, career guidance specialists, and finally representatives from the Ministry of Tourism and Muwasalat Company.

-The length of the exploration journey was 30 kilometers approximately.

-The number of the supporting bodies of this project was about 10 bodies, including:

Oman luxury, Tomoorcom, Square Colors, Thamrat Al-Ata, Oman Sea Tour, Design Library, .

-الدول المشاركة في المشروع: أستراليا، نيوزيلاند، بريطانيا، أمريكا، إيرلندا، النمسا، و اليابان.

-The participants and volunteers got acquainted with the services provided by the transportation company and some of the pros and cons related to those services. The scholarship students presented their opinions about the transportation service in Oman and their suggestions that would improve the performance of transportation services due to their experience with transportation from their countries of scholarship.
