Project Brief

The Salikon Foundation sought to involve the scholarship students in enriching society with effective ideas, contributions that would contribute to shaping Oman's future vision. Through the permanent and direct communication of the Salikon Foundation with the scholarship students, the work of the “My Scholarship Experience” initiative over the past years, and also through our experience in organizing, managing student forums between scholarships inside and outside Oman, this project has been implemented by creating direct links between Omani scholarship students in various countries of scholarships by making virtual rooms and interactive sessions. Finally, a comprehensive report is written for the Oman Vision 2040 office to display all the contributions and suggestions resulting from these interactive sessions.

Project Goals

•Involving scholarship students abroad in the Oman Vision 2040 conference to make use of their ideas and proposals that contribute to achieving the vision's goals.

•Involve scholarship students in the Oman Youth Platform 2040, to find projects that may contribute to solving some of the problems in the selected national priorities.

Salikon Sessions

Salikon Foundation decided to take advantage of the time between sessions and enrich discussions that benefit the vision by involving the scholarship students in expressing their opinion and sharing their suggestions on various topics, as each day of the conference included a different number of Salikon sessions.

:Session Results

These sessions played a major role in allowing the scholarship students to communicate with decision-makers in Oman to express their views, aspirations, and questions regarding the vision.

Platform/ Manassa

المنصة هي منظومة وجدت لخلق بيئة شبابية ذات مخرجات لديهم أفكار تساهم في تطوير الخدمات ورفع مستوى توجه الشباب لريادة الأعمال. وقد ساهمت شركة سالكون بإشراك الطلبة المبتعثين حيث ينم هذا عن اهتمام فريق مؤسسة سالكون بتكريس وقتهم و جهدهم ليكونوا حلقة وصل بين الفرق و متطلبات المنصة

:Platform/Manassa results

•4 Viable projects were presented that provide solutions to challenges facing the national priorities selected by the participating teams.

The Platform was attended by 31 students on scholarships to the United States of America, Netherlands, and New Zealand. The attendance of the students was via the Internet and they supported the students who attended the platform.

•Holland students succeeded in completing the requirements, delivering the quality study before the specified time, this is an achievement added to the students and the Salikon Foundation.

Achievements of the Oman Vision project through the eyes of their scholarship students

•Coming up with four projects in the Oman Youth Platform 2040 through student associations abroad concerned with finding solutions to some of the national priorities.

•Participation and interaction of a large number of students on scholarships to contribute to drawing the vision of Oman.
